Default Freeze plug replacement - now won't start

Gents,
Bought the 95 and discovered a leaking freeze plug. Purchased the manifold gasket, pulled all off, carefully, labeled stuff so I would get it in the right place. All went back very well. Finished the job, connected the battery and was just going to move the Jeep out of the Mrs. Garage (you know the drill). Anyway, it won't start. Everything seems to be in order and it does try to start...but just can't quite make it. Things I should look for? Vacuum leaks, mis-wiring, spark, fuel...basics I have looked into....just not sure if I have overlooked something simple.

Thanks in advance.

Hope all had a great 4th!

Did you label the injectors? Also, did you plug the CPS wire back in?

X2 on CPS.

-1 on the injectors. The injectors do not care which wire they get the signal from. Back in 95, they were batch firing.

Re-check spark plug wires and pull a plug and check for spark.

X2 Yep to CPS. Injectors are correct.

Ran out of weekend, so maybe I will get a chance to fool with it tonight.

One more tid-bit I happened to think about while reading other posts today about fuel, spark, etc, etc., trying to maybe find a clue about my Jeep. Yesterday, whilst I was cleaning the intake, I turned it sideways to let some debris fall off and I had a small steel ball run across the shop floor. I couldn't see where it went to but now wondering if it is part of the fuel system? part of a check valve? Its x2 the size of a Daisy BB. Ideas?

I'd double and then triple check ever inch of the wiring. Make sure ever thing is nice and tight.

Where in Alabama are you?
