its what the intake tubing runs into, TB stands for Throttle Body

I am having truble with my auto trany wanting to down shift tomuch at high way speeds. i was told to change the trany contoll unit, I did but it still has the issue. I was then told to try a unplg the box and try and maual shift to check if the trany is bad.. Is this a sound thing todo??? Im a new XJ owner. can some one help me with this issue....

did this today at work on lunch break. i installed a throttle body spacer and i think that may have changed the shift points alittle..i couldnt tell because i bought the new jeep tuesday, drove it home then put the tbs on so didnt really have time to notice but after doing this quick little fix it works great cuz before it wouldnt downshift when going uphill.
