I know that Fram oil filters aren't very good because of their design, and many people have had bad luck with them. How are their fuel filters? I have one on the jeep I'm building, just seeing if I should change it while I'm getting it going.

Looks to me like it's time for a replacement.

All the negatives I've heard about Fram are for their oil filters, never heard anything bad about the fuel or air filters. So I'd say go for it. However, just because of all the negatives I've heard about the Fram name, I'd get a different brand if I had the option to.

I've used fram fuel filters on all my vehicles as far back as I can remember and never had any issues. I stayed away from the oil filters on advice from people smarter than me lol. I would change it now - they're cheap, you have it out and it looks a little worse for wear.

I say change it while it's out.
as far as being a good fuel filter.. They all seem to work the same.

Looking @ the fuel line / clamp combo I would keep a fire extingusher real close by, replace the whole thing.

Yeah I replaced the line from the tank to the filter and line from the filter to the metal line. All clamps replaced. Buut I kept the filter for now , I just wanted to see if I would run.
