I noticed in the pics section that some XJ's have four switches below the A/C controls instead of three switches. Mine has three(rear def, rear wiper, fog light), but I'd love to have the plate with four switches(extra fog light switch). Anybody know what years/trim packages came with the four switch plate?

 

I heard once they are from the police package xj

 

Interesting...I'll have to check into that. I saw it when I was cheking out Boggy's pics of a double-din DVD/stereo install. The stereo looks sick, but I'm really wanting one of those switch plates. Thanks for the info. Can anybody else confirm?

 

There is a thread about switch plates, search it, o forgot who it was but you can pm the member that has them on his rig. He uses them for his aux lights

 

I searched over 20 pages of threads, and couldn't find anything on that particular switch plate. However, I found an idea that I like even better, so no worries.

 

K but just a FYI the thread is sweat switch panel and the user is e30. He has the police package with the 4 switches. There's also other switch panel to help gel your idea

 

I found it, and I agree it is pretty sweet. I'm gonna pick one up if my local dealer still carries them. I also like the idea of putting switches in next to the transmission shifter. I also just found a really sweet A/C vent with switches. I think I might just try them all! The following link is for the vent pod.
