Default folding mirrors siezed?

I looked at the price for replacement mirrors for 97+, yikes.

So That being said I can push on mine pretty hard and they wont fold, they are power, non heated. Could it be from never being folded prior to me owning them, like corosion? anyone else have problems, how did you handle it. I really dont want to try to force it and snap the mirror off.

Ideas?

Look on eBay. I bought one for $35 shipped to only break it the next time out.

Or try this.

If you're sure they fold, try pb blaster or something.

I had the same problem on the passenger side. My son fix it by driving to close to a tree in my drive way. It works fine now and he didn't even crack the plastic or the glass.
