I'm still tinkering with my lighting. I have dark vision adaptation issues and am having an increasingly difficult time seeing clearly after dark ... specially on roads in the country with no lines.
I'm considering popping for the Hella DynaView Intelligent cornering light system ... http://www.autoanything.com/lights/index.aspx a 7" light that is too deep to mount on the front bumper without some sort of a bracket.
Anyone know of a bracket that might work well .... ??

With my Hellas, i mounted them on the edge of the bumper and just angled the mounts up so the base of the bracket forms a 45 with the ground. This offers a lot of clearance. My state doesn't allow this but, depending on the laws in your area you also could mount them on the back corners of your hood. just my .02

Thx to all who chimed in, really appreciate the input !! .... finally decided on the KC slimlite fogs and they will be here Monday.
Stock front bumper on a 98 Cherokee ... What is the best, easiest, most effective way to mount those fogs?
Directly to the bumper, just inside the headlights, no homemade bracket?
Fab a flat tab and bolt the lights to the tab and the whole schmeer to the bumper?
Aftermarket light bar that bolts underneath the front end and locates both lights near the center in front of the grill?
Something else?
I'm mostly a motorcycle mechanic these days and sometimes I don't see the trees for the forest on my Jeep ...
.. please help me do it the best way the first time. Thx

114 views now, Aircrew, .... not too many different ideas ... maybe it's a dumb idea altogether ? .... maybe I should put a light bar on the roof ??... lol ... seems like that would be overkill for a street vehicle though.
Possibly I'll start another thread and try to title it better .... dunno ... I refuse to believe that you, Kitsap and I are the only ones to attempt this install ... may be worth a tech tip write up once I do mine ... cuz I'm doin' it ... and that's official ... !!

I'll post up an idea and the one I am likely going to get and mount some nice driving lights on..With this one I would also get these lights and just adjust them to angle for proper visual needs..Get 4 lights and you are set. They are similar in design to the hella 500's for 1/4 of the cost.

see i have a 99 classic (not sure if you can see it in my pics) but my stock bumper has 2 little extensions in the plastic that i may be able to just drill holes in and mount them, as for the other ideas earlier - i think they meant if you cant fit the light (like it wont fit on the bumper and not hit the grill) buy a bevel and mount it farther out and then bend (angle) the light up so its straight
