well everyone has there opinions, I would read up on reviews. I have always been a big valvoline guy, but my shop switched to mobil 1 and I am liking there products too....

Another vote for valvoline or mobil one lubes.... Lucas and MMO are both great additives as well. I'd steer away from mobil one oil filters though.... Not that they are bad, in fact they can be too good! They work great in newer cars below 100k but when they start getting higher I'd switch to a cheaper brand like bosch... The filtration of the mobil is so fine that they can become clogged and restrict oil flow or stop it all together... Back when I was a parts guy we'd here of it all the time. Most of the mechanics coming in wouldn't use them for that reason. If your motors real clean you'd be fine but otherwise cheaper is actually a little safer IMO.

 

ha ha asking what fluids and filters to use is like setting off an ant hill. Everyone is going to have different opinions. I for one use havoline 10-40 and k&n filter....207k later still strong
