depends on what you classify as loud...
my FM40 is the perfect tone for me. noticeable in the city, quiet (or at least it is cause the tires overpower the exhaust tone) on the highway.

I have a 40 Series, when in idle it sounds sweet, when you dog it, it sounds awesome. When you first start your engine it drones, but once the engine heats up it quiets down and sounds awesome!

x2, I have a flowmaster super 44 and love it. I was worried about it being loud at highway speeds but to my surprise its very quite, a nice mellow tone. But when driving around town it has that really throaty sound that I love.

My 40 is wicked loud but my exhaust stops at muffler. My girls 40 sound good with rear exit. But she has stock piping so its quieter.
