My muffler is bad and I'm looking to give my 4.0 some sound. But I don't want the "pissed off bumblebee" noise! I like a low deep rumble. I know it's possible with a straight 6! Any suggestions?

how do you pass inspection with straight pipe? and where did you locate your o2 sensor that goes into the cat. straight piping would be, exhausts manifold, then only piping going all the way out the back, no muffler, or cat converter. i took my muffler and converter off and listened to it come out of just the header and sure it sounded good idling but when i drove it oh my gosh, it was wayyy to loud!

i cut off my exhaust from the cat back. i love the sound of it . friend said it sounds like a older diesel dully. and the cracked headers compliment the sound of the exhaust and it sounds nice. :P and when its under a load its sounds the best deep rumble kinda
