I put a Flowmaster on mine and a K&N cold air intake on it. It really pick up my acceleration from stop to go. Didn't help with MPG though, but I believe it's because I have a lead foot. I don't know what Flowmaster I put on it, but it doesn't have a deep rumble. It did make the interior cab loud and my wife hates it.

from what ive heard the 44's. its kind of a to each their own.

but loud is overrated....my 70 mustang was loud (yes its a muscle car and should have a nice rumble) but I couldn't talk to anyone when driving because it was loud. don't know what mufflers it had though but it that way.

Glad im back to an xj that is quiet.

They aren't.. I have one on my Civic and it sounds good... got better mpgs too than the restrictive stock junk.

I really dislike a loud, droning vehicle.

The only person you're going to impress is you.

I like my Super Pioneer Stereo MUCH better.
