Default floorpans

I recently purchased a 93 cherokee sport. How hard is it to replace the floor pan? Only passenger side is bad, driver side is great. Also, any reason why only rot on 1/2 the truck? Any help would be great.

Pull up carpet, cut out rusted area, rivet new down, tac weld, plumbing caulk, install carpet, enjoy.

Thats just how rust works, it may attack someones quarter panel and someone elses frame, varies where it starts.

Same here. I thought XJ's just had a flat floor.. thats why most just use sheets of sheet metal to fix rusted floors.

It curves up at the doors... curves up at the transmission...curves up at the firewall.. and curves up at the back seats. Sure doesn't sound very flat to me... In the very middle of each floor pan it is flat, however rust does not discriminate between flat and curved surfaces. Also check out the link below.. they are referred to as Floor Pans as well.

I do not know about cheapest... but you can get them through Quadratec. I don't think you will find them for too much cheaper. I look at another site and they were about $99 each side.

http://www.quadratec.com/products/72608_8501_07.htm

I have the same problem.. except on both sides.
