Well the floor is done. FINALLY!!!

I have to make new seat supports for it (front and rear), but at least the floor is in...no laughing at the welds, they ain't pretty but they work. I have an old Campbell housfield flux cord (probley 15 years old... the part were the tip goes is completely burned out) it's to old for using shielding gas. I had to put a patch panel to cover all the rust on the firewall, it was rusted 8" up the firewall on both sides towards the outside of the jeep. on a safety note, when welding that far up the firewall, keep in mind the inner fender wells are plastic and will catch fire, so make sure the jugs with water you have to put out the flames ain't FROZEN!!!
you can also see in the pic were the front a rear floor panels joined there is a piece of metal with surface rust, the floor panels I bought were long enough to just touch together so I just put a piece of 16ga metal over them and spot welded the two pieces together for support
seat supports are gonna be made from a steel load beam (the metal beams that go horizontally that the pallets sit on in Sam's club) in the front and 1/8 steel angle for the rear, they will be welded across the floor and to the uni-body, trans tunnel and inner rocker panels.

NICE :thumb up: Due to my lack of welding equipment I'm going to have to pay someone to do mine. How are you going to finish it off? Monsta-liner? As far as the seat supports, if you decide against building them here are the part numbers:

Were gonna use a bedliner (top and bottom)and not put the carpet back in. thanks for the part #'s if they become to big of a pain to build that'll help a lot. I'd let ya barrow my old welder but that's a heck of a drive....lol

I just want to add that the panels from Classic 2 Current only required slight modification to install and fit great. I had a few questions about the floor panels and a person from C2C emailed me back with in an hour. so a big shout out to C2C for making a great inexpensive product...made right here in the USA.
