Starting to well...start on it finally.Going to be slow going but will get done eventually. I have just removed carpet and was as I suspected. Drivers side gone,passenger side has a couple pin holes but will know more after doing some sanding.Rear driverr side I saw a couple pin holes and rusted out around where the mounting bolt goes thru floor pan for the seat. I've included some pics.

 

Atleast for the drivers side you will be needing a new floor pan and seat brace. That was what made my job very hard is the seat brace and limited money lol.

 

Already got the drivers side pan. After poking around passenger side going to replace i also since feels like about 1/3 or so of it is pretty thin and 3 spot where its rusted thru figure better do it now. Gonna order the drivers side seat brace and may be able to save the passenger side. Each front seat the outer side back bolt broke so gonna have to do something about it . Whats the best way to remove factory seam sealer?

 

When I was young we used to refer to that as the 'sun floor'!

 

Well after more looking at 3 out of 4 pans needs replacing the passenger rear looks like I may just have to patch it will know more about it after more sanding. Going to replace both seat crossmember brackets. Also found out need to work on both rear lower quarters but that will be a later project.

 

Got a stupid question but common sense tells me to do the front first then the rear that way due to the overlapping of the panels the seam will be facing the rear but per a write-up on Eastwood sight they say rear then front....which is best? thanks!

 

Repair the water intrusion issue first.

 

So far done found 4..one metal plug toward back seat was not seated in hole, rubber plug on front passenger side leaking, rubber seal on firewall where steering column goes thru was not seated in hole and seam between firewall/fender sealer gone and was leaking there also. Going to check windshield and other known spots next.
