Default Floor Mats for Stick Shift Cherokee

Yes I have searched, No I have not found one photos of any floor mats, RR, quadratec, husky, weathertech, etc that show if it fits with a stick shift Cherokee.

Does anyone have a stick shift cherokee with any of the after market floor mats that fits when you depress the clutch?

I don' feel like buying twice to get the right fitment. Money is not a dealbreaker, I just want what will fit correctly. I had the quadratecs on an automatic Cherokee, so I know those wont work well, which rules out the RR ones as well

Thanks in advance.

It'd be nice to know the year of your Cherokee, but I am trying to understand why they would be different. Most XJs have a center console that negates any difference at all.

I'm with Robert. I can't think of any reason there would be a difference.

It's a 97, but I'm looking for one that has a cutout for when you depress the clutch, or low enough that it won't get caught on the floor mat.

Center console has nothing to do with it.

i think most out there will work. Or you can make the cutout yourself if they don't.

Dont use floormats. Problem solved lol.

If i was deadset on doing the same as you and couldnt find what i wanted, i would buy the mats available and remove some stiching and cut the mat to shape. Then stitch the border back to the rest of the mat. You would have to cut the border and stitch that together as well. You could always have one custom tailored. An auto upholstery shop should have no problems at all doing it. No clue what they would charge tho. Then id install hooks if i didnt have them already to make sure the mat didnt move around. For that reason right there, i dont like floormats to begin with.

I've never seen one with a cutout for the clutch pedal. Not for any vehicle.

I have not owned a stick Cherokee, but based on what I have seen with other vehicles, I'd say if it's going that far down, something is probably wrong.

I've owned many manual transmission vehicles, and upgraded floor mats in all of them--usually to Husky Liners. I've never had to buy a mat specifically tailored for a clutch pedal.

I have husky liners in my 98 5-speed
They work just fine, no issues with the clutch touching anything and they stay put without any issues

Thanks for the info. I'll order the Huskies.

But for everyone s info the stock Jeep logo rubber mats I have has a cut out for both the clutch and gas pedal. Not aftermarket. I'll try to upload photos when I have a chance.

Make yourself clear next time, and there won't be confusion. For what it's worth, I've never had a problem with a clutch and floor mats in any XJ or TJ.
