Default Floor Mats

Not sure if this is the right spot to put it, but has anyone ever put Weathertec brand floor mats in their XJ? The website sells them for 97+ but not -96. Will they fit in my 96? I know the floor pans and seats changes in 95 so it's kinda weird. Anyways, thanks in advance! Also if anyone has pictures of them installed that would be a plus. They are supposed to form fitting and I'm just wondering how compatible they are.

I had a set of Weathertec in my 94; they fit just fine. They stop a little short, but no biggy. The bigger issue I ran into is on the outside of your gas pedal foot, the stiffening rib pulls the mat into your foot. I replaced them with the Quadratec fronts and been great since... No complaints on the Weathertech for the rear seat floor and the rear cargo area. No experience with the Quadratec versions in those locations...

I appreciate it! I definitely will consider this when choosing!

These are the ones I'm looking into

Not that this helps but I own the Rugged Ridge mats and according to their website it looks like the same part number is listed for front and rear seats for '00, '96, and '95.
Now I would have assume that if the WeatherTechs would fit a '96 that it would be listed as such.
Would open up the possibility of more sales so....

I agree! I'm sure the rear floor mats would fit no problem. And they do share a cargo mat. But only carry front mats for the 97+. I honestly don't think they would be too much different. But someone on here's got to have already tried it.
