Floor Boards
In the near future, I plan to replace the carpet in my Jeep because it is thrashed. But I also, have a few rusted out floor boards. To replace these could I just cut out the rusted parts and add some new metal to fill the rusted out spots? Anyone ever done this before?

yep! once the carpet is out, it is a cinch! I repaired 7 holes in mine, but in stead of welding them in, I used galvanized sheet metal, and riveted them into place. in order to make a good seal though, I used windshield caulk. it sealed it up tight with no leaks! i used galvanized metal to avoid future rust in the same areas.
