wanting the put in one with nav and bluetooth, but not sure if i will like it, so i don't want to spend $400 off the bat.

any ideas for a cheaper unit to test out?? maybe pic on how it fit it you did one?

 

They make single din's with little DVD screens in them...

 

Power Acoustik makes some of the "down hanging" single-din units;

They make a 9" LCD version as well (table sized). I was going to go for one of these, but choose a higher quality head unit for better sound quality instead.

 

Honestly, I hate the flip outs, wobble all over and break so much easier than a normal Double din. Put in the work to actually do a legit double din unit in. it'll be MUCH more worth it.
