Default first lift

i want to run 30" tires with a 4.5" lift on my 2000 xj. would i need to run bigger gears or would i be good with the factory ones? I figure it's a pretty basic build to start with but i'm not sure about any changes i'll need to make. Any advise would be helpful

I would not worry about regearing with 30's its when you start using 33's and bigger is when you should worry and btw your gonna look like your running a huge lift with small tires if you use 30's on a 4.5

I would probably run 32's on yours with a 4.5" lift. It might look a little bit silly with 30's. But then again, it's your XJ.

This is mine with p235's(29.5"ish) and a 3.5" lift that is sitting around 4.5-5" in the photo. Is this the look you are going for?
