firewall to block ground question
The firewall bolt was easy, but the one on the block is rusted on. I've been pb blasting it for 2 days and it comes loose part of the way, then just stops dead. Question is how much can I pull on this? Am I in danger of breaking it? Any other advice appreciated.

Just run another cable from the firewall to a bolt on your intake manifold.

If the nut loosened up and then got stuck again it is probably just gummed up on the top side... Tighten the nut back up to the block and then clean the threads at the top and check for damage to the threads.
You can certainly do as Cruiser suggests and ground to the intake, but you'll need to remove that bolt on the block eventually so you might as well fix it now.

Some of these guys put PB Blaster on their Cheerios at breakfast before working on their rigs.

thanks, Cruiser. I got the plug and play battery cable kit from 5-90 and the one provided for that ground isn't long enough to reach the manifold. Any suggestions to get that bolt off?

Instead of putting a lot of muscle on it in one direction, I would try working it back and forth and hitting it with penetrating oil in between. I have had good luck getting stuck bolts loose by alternately tightening and loosening, until eventually, with some patience, it comes out little by little.
