Clutch problem or worse?!
Hi im new here. I recently bought a $650 xj. Its a 92 I think and runs pretty good. The biggest problem is that if you put it in first and let off the clutch it grinds bad unless you put forward pressure on the stick. lots of pressure..... Any ideas?

If your trans isn't staying in gear, slipping out, or won't go into gear then it's definitely an internal problem. I would relate this problem to not going into gear and it will most likely develop into that if it's not taken care of. Most likely will need to replace a few parts.
