Default Finally threw on the lift

Ok so i finally threw the 6.5 inch lift kit on my 01 xj and looks great only thing tht i need to do is level out the front with spacers which any advice will help cause we took of the saw bar links, the shocks the lower control arms and still couldnt get it compressed enough to throw on the spacers. Also few other things that I ran into was the sway bar links are grinding up against the wheel well or body any suggestions? and last real problem is it is squeaky all get out and wondering what i should do to get rid of it any ideas? overall the lifts was fairly simple and just time consuming

I would hope that with 6.5" of lift you're using Long arms, and if you've disconnected the SWAY bar, drag link, and shocks you should easily be able to drop the front axle far enough to put spacers in. If you're using short arms then just disconnect the arms, then there's nothing to hold you back from getting them in. Sway bar links shouldn't rub the body unless they're too long and with 6.5" of lift that's almost impossible. Maybe a longer bumpstop would help. And as for squeaks you should use anti-sieze on all your bolt and bushings and greas all the joints you can.

its a 4.5 inch rough country lift with 2 inch shackles and 2 inch coil spacers now and still getting the same thing its not as bad im prolly gonna have to cut the bolt a little bit its just too long... and i do have short arms which i dont mind the ride its a jeep lol. As for the squeaking i hosed it all down with a bottle of PB so i still dont know why it squeaking...

Do you have a trac bar? are both sway bar mounts hitting?

take off your trac bar too to lower axle further, and lift opposite side of axle as this will push other side down a little.

if all else fails get a coil compressor from Autozone or something and compress it just enough to get the spacer on
