Could possibly be the altinator. You can go to any auto supply store and they useually check that stuff out for free.

MIne does that now... I can watch the volt gauge on the dash, and when the fan kicks on, it drops about a volt. Just never been enough to go spend money on it...

and alternator FTW!
not putting out enough amps when you kick the AC, probably has a bad diode, needs to be replaced.
test the battery also. batteries are often damaged when the Alt. goes bad by A/C current.
