ok well I got my Jeep started after a couple days of trial testing and now its got a pretty bad idleand I cannot figure it out. I got a new TPS and IAC and nothing, im reading on the instructions that i need to adjust the IAC valve but I cannot figure out how to do it. Im thinking to pull the valve tothe length that was on my old one but I was told not to. so can anyone help my figure out why it has a rough idle or if not, how to adjust the valve.

lol the same. rough idle and some weird loud, rough whirlwind noise that I cannot figure out. but the second one wasnt really my main problem.
have you checked all of your spark plug wires you could have a misfire somewhere in there so check them all also your spark plugs could have a bad plug you never know you have to start elimination things and work your way to the problem.
How about the Camshaft Positioning Sensor or MAP sensor the MAP sensor has a little Vacuum hose check it for leaks also the fuel pressure regulator on many models it was at the end of the fuel rail closes to the front grille it has i vacuum hose on it also too take it off if fuel comes out while the jeep is running then is bad.

then check the vacumm line on the Map sensor the map sensor is on the firewall behind the intake it should be a green plug goint to the map sensor.
Does the jeep sounds like it has a miss when running at idel?

well I have never dealt with a vehicle that had a misfire but I lloked it up on youtube and I guess it does sound like a misfire. but wouldnt that toss up a trouble code?
most of the time yes but not always that's what suck about a computerized vehicles i would check the vacuum lines and if that don't do it replace the crank positioning sensor its not hard just two 10mm bolts but it is kinda a pain to get to it sits on the driver side of the jeep where the engine and transmission meet
Hey i noticed i been saying (Cam Positioning sensor) It's Crankshaft positioning sensor sorry and here's where it is

nope but if its just a picture of the CPS Ill look it up. the thing is I dont wanna keep buying sensors and having it not be the issue. I just bought 2 new ones both of witch I dont think i need but hey, I dont have to worry about them for a while now. but still I dont wanna pay however much for the sensor and have it not be the problem. Is there a way to test it?
yeah i but you have to have a $ 4,000 snap on scanner like mine lol not worth it their maybe a way but I'm not sure of it other then the scanner
Have you tested to see if you have good amount of pressure and fuel at the fuel rail
it's easy to test take off the fuel line coming into the fuel rail the one farther back if you have two line have some one turn on the key forward but not crank to start and the fuel should come out for about two seconds i suggest you get a coke bottle at end so you don't dump fuel after that check while someone is cracking it to start the fuel should come out pretty quick
You have to everything you can before you start buying sensor that can get expensive but not bad because after all you get new part

It's hard to tell with this kinda of problem bud it could be so many things
Now another question does it idle good when it's the engine is warmed up or no?

I have not checked the fuel pressure yet but I do not have the tool to check that. unless there is a way without the tool (whatever the tool may be ) and would I check it through the threaded nipple coming out of the side of the fuel rail?
