One guy posted you can park pointed a bit down-hill, then remove the (rearward) temp sensor and fill it till coolant comes out there.

I've always managed without needing to do that. Top it, drive it, top it....Also mine has a "T" in the heater hose for flushing, has a cap with garden hose thread.

On an open system I usually fill the radiator, start it with the cap off, and let if run till the t-stat opens. Then as the water in the radiator goes down fill it up.

What do you all mean, closed system, open system? You talking about that stupid bottle vs. a cap on the Rad?

Ya basically. The closed system is just how it sounds.... totally sealed, like our renix models. Open has a cap and an overflow bottle that liquid can get out of.... well sometimes. That's how my mustang is. The bottle is not pressurized.... the system is still pressurized and the cap allows some coolant to escape into the reservoir as it expands.
