FUEL***
Tried the search via my iPhone and no luck.
Have a long trip coming up and wanted to get some fuel injector cleaner that I could pour into the gas tank. What is recommended for a 94 Jeep 4x4 XJ 4.0 6c. The auto parts guy was tryin to sell me there sale of the month crap. I don't mind spending a few extra bucks so long as I get the best. Thanks.

Just go buy some Acetone from HD/Lowes/wherever. 99% or the "magic fuel treatments" out there use Acetone as the base element. It burns a lil hotter which (in theory) allows it to clean (burning off deposits) and be more efficient. I've always just added 6-12oz to each fill up at the tank running the cheaper fuel. Buying a big can of Acetone is way less expensive than the little one shot fix alls sold at the parts store... Just my .02s

Quality gasoline has all the cleaners you need.
Try this - buy all kinds of them, put each of them in pans to soak dirty parts in. Notice NONE of them clean anything, especially carbon.
Laquer thinner is about the only thing that dissolves carbon, and then not very well.
The fuel system does not turn to carbon until it burns in the combustion chamber. Before then it's just deposits from the fuel. Fresh quality gasolene has the additives to keep it from depositing solids. If it has had old gas in it, the additives will slowly and safely dissolve them.

From personal experience,
my 1998 Jeep started running rough shortly after I bought it 4 years ago with 77,000 miles. I did the regular tune up stuff, plugs, wires, etc. and it was still running bad and the code showed injector problem.
I put in the Seafoam and it has been running perfect for 4 years and 30,000 miles including a 2000 mile move across the country.
Seafoam gets my vote

The parts guy said seafoam is bad for injectors.... Way to try as sell ur crap auto guy. Ok thanks. I'll give seafoam a shot. I mean the jeep runs fine, just figured I would try some as I have a long trip. Thanks everyone for the input.

Seafoam works well, but don't overdo it. Best way is to crank the Jeep, pull a vac line off the intake and stick it in the can and run for a minute then put the line back on. It will smoke like you won't believe while doing this so be sure to be upwind. Then pour the rest into a FULL tank of gas. Don't put lacquer thinner in your gas, it will deteriorate the rubber seals at an alarming rate.

The laquer thinner was to show it's about the only thing that can dissolve carbon - but NOT to put it in the tank!
Seafoam doesn't disolve anything except the paint on your fenders.
