I cut the fronts almost all the way up to that bend on the fenders. The rears I just got about a half inch from the door and followed the lines. Tip: use a nibbler instead of a sawzall/angle grinder. It makes your cuts much cleaner

You try using foam crack sealer. After it dries cut/sand it and use undercoating.

This is how I did mine, minus the Bushwhackers.

I fabbed up some aluminium inserts for the frt., to block road debris from door hinges, electrical. I used the foam insert(factory piece behind the plastic inner) as a templet and added some tabs to fasten to lower a-pilliar. This also cut down on water comming off tires, and soaking me when doors are off.

Well its not my DD so i usually dont worry about it too much. I am going to do something about it eventually though cause every time it rains theres about 4" of water in my floorboards (which are herculined so its no big deal)

when you cut fold the tabs over to hold it or just rip them out.
