Default Fender flares from HELL!!

Ok so I took my stock flares off to paint them due to sun fading. My question is there any trick or something to get these things to stick on there, the spaceing is all off on the fenders and one always falls off, i dont want to chop them off either. Just seeing if there was a trick to put these sons ah *****es on there..

I didn't even take the brackets off, They are all back on, somewhat but they look like **** and always seem to fall off or hang a little. Its driving me crazy, I can rebuild a LT1 but the fender flares laugh in my face everytime i get in the jeep haha

I had the same problem, take a flat head, open up the bracket a bit, then clip them right on, thats what I did and they stuck no problem.

Just wedge the flat head b/w the bracket and the fender, and open the bracket up.

Worked for me no problem!

hmm.

dunno what to tell you, I have the older style flares (96).

I've heard the newer style has a much crappier mounting style though.

it is much easier to take brakets off and clip the flare in then bolt them on. it can b a pain unless u have 10mm ratchet wrench
