Temporary fix to JCR 1 ton steering???

Default Temporary fix to JCR 1 ton steering???

I blew out the Delrin spacer they use with their one ton steering. anyone know if theres anything i can buy at a store to fix the problem until the spacers i ordered come in?

Just wait till you get it. I blew mine out and waited till it came in. Steering felt a little different but not much

cant wait. its my daily driver and it feels like total ****. definitely dangerous driving around especially on the highway.

then you have other problems. that little spacer helps with the TRE roll. I dd mine for a couple weeks with no issues

go buy a cheap plastic cutting board from wal mart and make your self some

no other issues the tie rod rolls bad. i had no problem before it blew. now that its gone i have a huge dead spot.

I just looked at my steering and are you talking about the polyurethane bushings?

they are poly bushings. go to a truck shop and buy some poly body lift bushings. cut them to fit

yeah the bandaid bushing they use on the passenger side tre

cutting board plastic is pretty awesome stuff (has to be to be approved for cutting board material). i bet it outlasts the other one you had and you can make a ton of them

the bushings are made of polyoxymethylene which is a lot stiffer

maybe that why it didnt last. ive been read alot about delrin. they use it in a lot high end exotic cars
