Fault Code 27 & Injectors
Just wanted to pass along some information to anyone interested.
I have a 95 Cherokee 4.0 with a rebuilt engine. When I bought the engine I ordered a set of injectors from Percision Auto Injectors that were supposed to be a performance injector completely rebuilt.
With about 3000 miles on the engine, I started getting an intermittant fault code 27 along with a an occasional miss. I pulled the plugs to see if this was an injector problem or pressure regulator/pump problem.
I found two plugs that showed indications of running too lean. I changed to the original injectors and this solved the problem.
I have not spoken to Percision as of yet but will post on the result I get from them.

Nice troubleshooting.
Normally Precision is pretty good at standing behind their product. They move a TON of injectors.
As they deal in "rebuilt" injectors and not new ones, there can be an occasional issue.
Post back what Precision is going to do for you.
