Hello all I figured I’d come here for answers have been searching the inter-webs and haven’t straight answer. My 98XJ keep kicking the fan on about every 30 seconds to one minute any clue why it would be doing this any help would be appreciated.

 

Is your AC or Defrost on? The aux fan runs when the AC compressor comes on in either of those modes. If this is the case you likely need the system recharged, after checking for leaks.

 

What's your engine temp ? and how good is your fan clutch ?
