Could it be my fuel regulator? I heard if your not getting good fuel pressure it makes your engine work harder causing it to overheat?

My dad bought a fuel rail pressure tester for the Polaris ranger, so im gonna try it and see how my psi is at the rail.

Couldn't hurt to check fuel pressure but as far as it causing overheating, don't listen to advice from that person anymore........

That's for the closed cooling system thing for 87-90 I believe, so I don't believe that would be my problem.

>>>Took me like 20 mins or less to get the radiator out. Gonna take it into a shop tomorrow. It looks nice and clean, but well see.

My rad is fine..just as expected.. how do I burp the system? I didn't do that before and that could be a problem im guessing? I have a 99 too. <<<

Sounds like he had the rad. looked at. Besides the clutch I'm curious if he ever installed a shroud. Anyway gotta be frustrating.

Let it idle with the rad/bottle cap off and maintain coolant level while idling. Replace cap after t-stat has opened. Check coolant level for several days, motor COLD.

Sorry DJB, I made that post too confusing. those >>> <<< where quotes from AZ's earlier posts. Sounds like he had the rad looked at. I'll try to be more clear!
