hey guys,

my fan just stopped working one day and i have not been able to solve it.
have had an auto electrician say that power is going to the unit.
i have taken the dash apart and the wiring is still conected.
fuses seem to be ok as well.

please help cause its 35 degree c here in australia and i want to get cold again.

Does the fan not work on ANY setting at all? What year XJ?

 

try banging on the switch. it is a known problem for the switch and connector to heat up and melt and cause it to work on and off. mine does this also I just bang on it with the palm of my hand a few times and it comes on.

 

If you know power is getting to the blower motor, then it's probably a bad blower motor.
