Will the factory spare tire carrier be able to fit a 31x10.50x15 tire on a factory wheel? Until I get or make a rear bumper, I have a lead on one for $30. I really need to carry a spare!

 

Im sure it can be and it also depends on the off set of the rim. I have a 30x9.50 on a stock wrangler rim in the stock place and I think there should be enough room to pull the bolt through. You just got to try it first. I also took the metal bracket on the floor off.

 

From what I have read on here, yes it can fit a 31. I've read many people talking about it. But I don't have personal experience with one.

31 on stock wheel (until I get a full size spare)

 

you can put a 31" on the carrier, you can also put a 31" in the factory location inside the back.

 

what about a 33x9.50 on 3.75 bs??

 

I have one that mounts too the bumper and too the side of my Cherokee right next to the 4x4 sign.
