Sure won't. The exhaust manifold on an HO is better flowing and the throttle body is larger. Cam is the same through 95 or so.

You can put that HO into your Renix. Just use your intake and exhaust manifolds along with the intake/exhaust gasket for your Renix. Be sure to use your distributor, valve cover, and flywheel/flexplate from the Renix. I've done this a few times. No big deal.

Is it worth all of that work for an extra 13 hp at the most? I'd leave it unless you plan on rebuilding it or putting in a stroker.

The HP gain with teh HO head is all in the upper RPM ranges. Torque is the same Renix to HO.

HO got some, but not all, of it's roughly 10 HP from the head design. Just as much came from the throttle body being 58mm versus 52mm on a Renix and the fact the HO had a better flowing exhaust manifold than Renix.

HO was an excellent marketing scam by Chryco.
