factory cherokee gear ratios
Im wondering what all gear ratios did the HP D30 in the cherokees come with from the factory? I know there were 3.07s and 3.54s, but did they ever come with 3.73s?

3.07 - used with 4.0L engine / manual transmission
3.31 - only available on older (pre87?) 2 door XJs with "Fuel Economy" package
3.55 - used with 4.0L engine / automatic transmission
3.73 - found in some XJs with the towing package
4.10 - used with 2.5L engine usually, and older XJs with the "Off-Highway Vehicle" package.
3.07 - used with 4.0L engine / manual transmission

I guess the HP D30 with 373s is rare cause I cant find one anywhere. Would a ZJ HP D30 bolt in my 91 XJ? Did ZJs even come with HP D30s?

no...ZJ's come with 3.73's in Most V8 4x4's but they are all low pinion axles
