Hello all, I'm just about finished upgrading my 92 XJ. Next I need a new Exhaust Manifold, since the one I have now has a crack in it. I was wondering what would be the best manifold to put in instead of a header. I wouldn't mind installing a header but then I wouldn't be able to get the car smoged as it is my everyday driver. Is there a year that maybe had better flow and will increase some horse power?

if your cat is still in good condition then you should have no prob passing your smog test.
unless you live in cali, I here its real hard out there to keep up on that.

Did you look to see if they make a c.a.r.b legal header?

Put a factory '92 manifold back on it. It is basically a steel tube high performance header already.
