On a budget....
I know this has multiple threads, but I can't find what I am looking for. I want a 3" lift at the best possible price. My rear leaf springs are flat, so will an add a leaf even work? Anyone who has done this please let me know. I have shopped around and I would like to stay on budget and not spend $500 if possible.
Thanks,
Jay
Thanks,
Jay

What is the budget you have in mind?
3" lift will Require, Shocks $100, Coils $100, Leaf springs $200-300 new. Junkyard option is S10 or Dakota leafs for bastard pack and V8 ZJ front coils and a 2" spacer. You will probably also need longer rear brake line, 95 YJ will work and a TC drop and/or shims for the rear axle.

I think you can accomplish what you want for less than $500,I would look under items for sale here,on ebay and read the threads on bast packs here. I put a 2" add a leaf on my xj and a 2" block,I got what I wanted for now,but I will be putting on bpacks soon.
