Default Exhaust manifold

Hello, I bought my '96 classic used, it has an exhaust manifold leak, need to find out exactly where it's coming from, ie: gasket or header itself, my problem is, I don't know why kind of header the PO put in it but I know it's not a stock manifold, my question is, can I just get (any manifold) gasket to replace the old one or would I have to know the name of it? I'm thinking just get a whole new setup

I used seafoam to look for my leak, just about half can in the break booster vacuum hose, check for check for smoke

Any intake/exhaust gasket for your year will work. Its a combined part.

Does your manifold look like this?

If so then it's been replaced already, what probably happened is the manifold bolts got loose and backed out a bit. If it's been like that for a while though, your gasket may be deteriorated and need replacing (not just tightening)

Any light oil in the intake should cause enough smoke that you'd see it coming out of any cracks. You can plug the tailpipe to help matters along

Yes it's a aftermarket header, just did t know of I can just get a gasket for the year of the or would I have to know the brand name of the header, there isn't any smoke coming out, can just her it but can't pinpoint where it's coming from, I tightened the bolts already but that didn't do anything, thx for the help
