Exhaust header

Default Exhaust header

I have a 97 xj with cracked header sounds like a bout so I need to replace anybody have and pointers on which header to buy that won't crack?

Those replacement ones with the "bellows" on them seem to work well.
Also be sure your engine and trans mounts are in good shape.

Ok, do you have any recommendations on a brand to get that's stronger then others maybe

I had mine welded and threw it back on the jeep. I replaced the engine and trans mounts beforehand. it lasted 17 years before having an issue. welding it was free for me and certainly the cheapest alternative for anyone. it's tough to beat the quality of a factory installed part, even if it is a Chrysler product.

Done the same 7 years ago. still perfect.

Ok I do have a welder I'll def give that try it did cross my mind I wasn't just sure how long it would last but thank you for input I'll try it out

Drill a small hole at each end of the crack before welding.
