I am getting a ton of road noise coming from my front end at about 75-80 mph it has done this since i bought it about a year ago. I put new tires on jeep and i have had these tiers before and they were not noisy. I was wondering if i should be looking at wheel bearings or something of that nature? anyone else have this same problem?
Thanks!

before you start throwing parts at it, if you have a good camera take it with you next time you hop in the freeway and try and record the sound.
Also jack up your front wheels and spin them manually and listen for the sound. Then put your hands at 3 and 7 and wiggle your wheel. Then at 10 and 4 and then at 12 and 6. There should be no play in the wheel/tire

Wheel balance. Most static balancers are only good up to posted highway. At 80+ - they've got to be dead on. Idea #2: belt in tire starting to separate. A puncture wound in tire that is plugged will often create rust in the steel belt. Then the belt starts to loosen. Then it breaks.
I have the same issue. 65 mph it starts droning bad at 70. it is a pulseing drone sound with a little vibe in floor. I have fairly new tires. Im thinking bearings for this with 120k.

that is what i am pointing towards to my self. there is 210k on the chassis of my jeep. I have to install my aussie locker at some point and this would be a time to replace the bearings.
my 96 droned like that at highway speeds and i replace the right front wheel bearing because they were pitted really bad when it came apart during removal (PITA!!). but when i checked them by the proven wiggle method they did not move at all.

Ok, i took video with my camcorder and it wasnt picking up the sound very well, i will try it again tonight. I had a few things come up last night and i was unable to test the wobble and spin. I will do that tonight for sure.
Thanks again guys.
