Default every problem brings a little more love.

alright. so like every other thing i come here for is usually a problem. i drive back from walmart. park at my crib. come in. bring in the grocery's. go outside to go to the gym. turn the key and completly nothing. i jump started it.. kept my black and decker in the jeep and drove to gym.. lifted.. then came outside and NOTHING again. could this be my alternator... my black and decker system had a alternator check. but sometimes it lights green and sometimes it lights red. im replacing the battery terminals because of corrosion. and i have the red on. but cannot figure out how to release the cable from the black terminal. Could this be the problem. or should i just replace battery and alternator and get over with it?

take it to schucks or autozone and have them test your battery, starter and alt. and go from there
dont just throw parts at it

I would do this first. And you can double check the quality of your ground connection. I believe more cars have failed to start because of a poor ground that all other causes combined and squared.
