Evaporator replacement

Evaporator replacement
Hi,
I have a 2001 cherokee straight 6. I am replacing the evaporator and was wondering if I am suppose to add 2 ounces of oil to the system. Because the haynes manual for this car tells me nothing about the evaporator. But the one for my grand cherokee says I need to add 2 ounces of refrigerent oil.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
