There are no other codes yet. But last time I cleared the codes it took about 40 miles for code P0455 Evap system large leak, to come back. If it does come back I'll do the smoke test.

Does anyone know if the LDP canister/Evap canister filter ever need to be replaced?

My check engines light went out today. But when I scanned for codes code P1495: Leak Detection Pump Solenoid Circuit was still there.

It sounds like your going to need a new leak detection pump , then you can see if any other codes come up .

Uhg. So this morning I got codes P1495: Leak Detection Pump Solenoid Circuit and P0455 Evap system large leak.

Then later test after driving about 170 miles I got a new code. P1698 no transmission bus messages.

I read that P1698 could be caused by a bad connection so I unplugged the computer and then plug it back in and it cleared all the codes so now I have to drive and see what comes back.

Im getting annoyed.

Default Fixed Leak.

I had it smoke tested today and fixed. There was leak at the charcoal canister connection.

Hopefully this fixes the LDP problem.

If yuo are getting a P1495: Leak Detection Pump Solenoid Circuit , that tells me there is a problem with the electrical part of the system .

Default 1 problem fixed.

I had the smoke test done and there was a big leak at the charcoal canister. My mechanic fixed it for free.

But the code for leak detection pump silinoid circuit came back. So gotta replace the LDP now.
