Well today I decided to install the new injectors that I got for the XJ

I never realized how tight those freaking injectors are in there

Well I finally got the old ones out of there, I had to pry them out

then the new ones were a pain to get them in there

But I am anxious to see how different these will run

just from turning it on earlier, I noticed that the throttle response was a little crisper.

I will post up any fuel mileage changes

Never heard of doing this? I have a 2000xj, would this have the newer style? If not, what vehicles are compatible with 4.0's? I think I have a bad injector now would be the best time to upgrade!

Whats the difference in the injectors? Did you see a gain in mpg or power?

the seller's name is phantasticdeals511. follow this add, but if you're 99+, don't get these, ask him to sell you 0280 155 784.

i can't say it was a night and day difference, but now my mpg meter doesn't increase like 1-2-3-4-5-.....
it goes 3-5-8-9-10. so, right from the takeoff i'm using less gas.

Did some digging. Read a very confusing thread, but these seem like a good option. What do ya think?

The photo in that auction is scaring me. I am sitting here with some injectors I got from a 95 Neon and an old injector I took out of my 94 Cherokee and they are identical over all (Except of course the 1/4 holes). The ones in that photo definitely wouldnt work with my 94 wire harness and yet it lists 95 as a year these things are compatible with.
