Why do people feel compelled to start taking things apart???

First, buy (borrow) a timing light and check for spark at the distributer center wire.

Next check for fuel pressure.
My '91 has a test connection on the fuel rail, anyone with a '96 care to check if they were still there on that model?

As for ignition coil, try to get a look under it for burned marks where the high voltage wire attaches.

 

i definetly have no spark. i can grab ahold of the coil while someone cranks it and it wont bite me... but im gonna try the crank sensor...got a buddy with a computer coming over this afternoon so hopefully it will tell me something useful

 

did you test those sensors everyone told you earlier? you keep asking and people are telling you but your not listening to the answers.

same. that was the issue with mine. i replaced everything then to figure out is was my crank sensor,

 

Oil Pump! It'll sound like it wants to turn but won't. Happened to me.

 

He has it fixed all ready. Oil pump? Really?
