engine tick from the bottom end?

Default engine tick from the bottom end?

so ive had this little tick, kinda sounds like a knock, but more on the tick type of sound, anyways its coming from the bottom end and it happened about a month after i hydro locked it. any ideas?

Any water in the oil? And check your flywheel bolts.

there isnt any water in the oil anymore will i be able to rotate the fly wheel while parked or will i have to put it in nuteral

Yes you can rotate the flywheel/flexplate while in park as it's bolted to the crank and the engine can rotate with the trans in park.

check your gasket for your exhaust manifold and the manifold itself, i dunked my jeep nice and deep into some water and ended up cracking every lead pipe running off the header. i had a small clicking noise at idle and then once i sped up it would go away? having the same thing?

im not sure if its going away or not cause my exhaust kinda drones, but if i do give it a lil gas and hang my head out the window i can still hear it

the only thing is that mine was doing the same thing. i would get in there and take a look, cuz when your exhaust system is hot and then you dunk it in cold water quick you can cause your manifold to crack. and with an exhaust leak it can seem like something is tapping or making a clicking noise.
