A ticking is better then a thunking cause i had a thunking and it was a bad cylinder, drove her till she died though. Rolled to the entrance to my girls housing development and sat there for like 2 hours speechless. She came and joined me in my mourning over the death of the engine.

It has to do with the evap system more than likely and if it's the one I'm thinking of its a purge valve.
