Engine stalls after long idle and cuts back while driving
Not the best on fuel about 12 to 15mpg depending and it stalls on extended idle. Chokes back occasionally while driving but has only happened once while driving.
According to the scanner its a short to voltage or hugh voltage from the heaters for both sensors. Not sure how to cgeck that. Or would it all be on the same fuse and wiring harness?
Connectors may be corroded but the fuse appears in tact and the wires arent melted or frayed. The upstream harnes is knarled but the wires havent sustained any damage that I can see.
The upstream sensor wires arentvfrayed or melted. They're almost new where they join inside the plugs and I cant find where the downstream harness ends up after it comes over the transmission into the engine bay. Can anyone post a picture showing where that harness ends up so I can fully check?
Those codes are still saying that there is a problem with the voltage supplied to the sensors. We don't want to get into replacing parts trying to fix it. Around here they call it "firing the parts cannon). I've been searching for some test specs and came across this:

Yea the IAC could be stuck open. You can clean your throttle body and IAC. I had a good link with pics that showed a step by step procedure but since Photobucket did their thing the pics are gone. Goggle how to do it. There are videos galore. Someone posted one not long ago and maybe they'll post it here.
