I have a 1996 cherokee with the i6 4.0 it does have codes all just for o2 sensors but the have been in half by previous owner another problem for another day but it will crank and start with no problem gas that's in the fuel rail is a little murky but it fires in all cylinders I go to slowly accelerate to goes smooth until I'm guessing 2.5k rpm maybe less maybe more no clue tachometer is acting weird but it starts sputtering almost like hitting the limiter kind of sputtering but with no power but if you floor it while it's doing that it comes alive goes back to normal and revs on past 2k to 4k and shifts normally but if I put it into 1-2 and floor it from dead stop tachometer actually works for some reason and it almost instantly hits 7k before it goes to 2nd then once into drive sputters for a second then goes to normal until you let up on the throttle then it repeats it may sound like a whole bunch of nothing if I need to clarify anything I will I'm just horrible at explaining things.
