Exclamation Engine noise tip in throttle

just bought 87 Cherokee ,prior owner put Dana 44 in rear and Dana 30 non disconnect in front with 4:10 gears. When I went to buy it on cold start. If you just tip in the throttle you could hear a noise like rod knock. At first I walked away. Came back next day because I really liked it, I started it and test drove 2 to 3 miles when I got back, opened hood and no noise ? Bought it... Trailered home and after 70 miles it cold start was there again, took oil pan off going to do rod and mains but after I took it apart some older jeep Guy said some made noise in the head and went away when warm, said there was some tech. Bulletin for head retorque or something. No knock at higher rpm at least that I coluld hear,,,,,,, any ideas or know of a bulletin,. Hope not wasting money doing bearings, oil pump ect. Oh. Oil pressure was almost 60 psi . Thanks. Don
